Arriving by train

The nearest TGV station is Massy-TGV, which has a direct connection with Gif-sur-Yvette through the RER B line (Massy-Palaiseau – Gif-sur-Yvette, 20 minutes). Gif-sur-Yvette can also be accessed from any other station in Paris, but this requires more travel time (45 minutes – 1.5 hour) and possibly additional connections to reach the RER B line (see map).

Coming by car

Gif-sur-Yvette and the CNRS campus can be reached by car, but due to ongoing construction, parking on the CNRS campus is limited.

Coming from the A6 or A10: follow directions to Massy and from thereon Christ-de-Saclay. At Christ-de-Saclay take the N306 in the direction Gif-sur-Yvette. In Gif-sur-Yvette, follow the Avenue du Général Leclerc to access the CNRS campus from the entrance on the Avenue de la Terrasse.

How to get to the CNRS campus

At the RER B station, take the tunnel to the other side (follow exit 1, next to the station building). Walk down the street (with restaurant “Les Saveurs Sauvages” on your right hand side) continuing straight for about 400 meters until it ends at a small roundabout (in front of a church). Take the street called “Rue Neuve” on the left and after about 150 meters turn right into the “Avenue de la Terrasse” until you reach the entrance of the CNRS campus.
